Dream Home Australia is a reality TV series - the brief was to showcase the intended renovation plans as animated concept sketches of how the exterior and interiors would look.
The project required 40+ animated illustrations across the seven episodes. The creative challenge was to work with architectural plans and photographs to create layered illustrations of each renovation feature in a consistent style within a limited timeframe.
The end result overall was a much warmer and more organic method of demonstrating the contestants’ dreams for their newly renovated homes, compared to architectural 3D renders.
